We are one of the world’s leading fabricators specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke process plant equipment for the hydrocarbon industry. We provide our customers with shell and tube heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns, filtration and drying equipment, piping systems and complete pre-assembled units, for both on and offshore applications.

Shell and tube heat exchangers

We provide thermal / mechanical design as well as the engineering and manufacture of shell and tube heat exchangers to ASME VIII, PD5500, EN 13445 and TEMA standards. This includes complete units, retrofits, re-tubing, cleaning and upgrades. We also supply tubesheet-type feedwater heaters and vacuum steam condensers.

Exchangers can be incorporated into complete packaged systems to reduce on-site installation requirements, providing significant benefits for both offshore and site shutdown requirements.

Air-cooled heat exchangers

We offer a range of different air-cooled heat exchanger configurations in order to meet the specific requirements of both the process and the site location. These air-cooled heat exchangers typically consist of finned tube bundles, plenum chambers, axial flow fans, drives, electric motors, structural steel support and access systems.

Air-cooled heat exchangers offer fast and efficient fluid-to-air cooling / condensing in process systems where no or insufficient cooling fluid is available. They are also favoured because of their economical and operational advantages as they are less reliant on complex fluid cooling and conditioning systems.

We could manufacture various types of aluminium, copper, stainless-steel and galvanised carbon-steel finned tubes, according to customer specifications in terms of working temperature, ambient temperatures, corrosive atmospheres, etc. We are familiar with the majority of materials. Our shop engineers, metalworkers and welders are specialised in using the following materials:

Corrosion-resistant alloys and cladding for tubesheets, channel headers, heat exchangers, vessels and piping systems

We have good experiences in cladding applications from tubesheets and channel headers to complete heat exchangers, vessels, columns and piping systems. Equipment is supplied utilising roll bonded, explosive bonded and especially various weld overlay techniques

Pressure vessels and columns

We could provide, erect and commission pressure vessels and columns at our current facilities, which can be manufactured in diameters up to 6.5m, lengths up to 45m and individual component weights up to 100,000kg, with wall thicknesses up to 100mm from plate and 135mm thick from forgings.

We manufactured pressure vessels and columns for both on and offshore applications, as well as petrochemical, oil and gas, chemical, fine and agro-chemical, pharmaceutical, nuclear, food and water treatment plants worldwide. Materials include carbon steels, HIC-resistant steels, stainless, duplex and super-duplex steels, nickel alloys, corrosion-resistant metals, and nickel alloys and clad combinations.

We have made explosively bonded, rolled clad and weld clad vessels and can internally weld clad nozzles as small as 2in nominal bore.
